FILM COMPOSER
Gavin Templeton is a Los Angeles based composer whose work spans narrative, animation, and documentary films. Known for his emotional precision and textural depth, he crafts scores that heighten narrative impact and bring authenticity to each story. His recent film credits include the feature documentaries In the Red (2025) and The Apology (2024), along with an ongoing collaboration with Still I Rise Films on projects such as The Zoo(2025), The Neighbors (2025), Passengers (2023), The Block (2023), The Mirror (2021), The Glove (2021), The Elephant (2020), The Cake (2020), and The Light (2019). His score for The Block earned a Septimius Award nomination for Best Soundtrack, recognizing his distinctive approach to emotional and narrative scoring, as well as a Berlin Shorts Award for work on The Mirror. Other narrative and animation works include Four For Fun(2022) and the animated short Spork (2021).
